The Gordon Jones Lodge is a rustic but modern A-frame building that sleeps 68 people. It is within walking distance of the church and reception hall. We have rented the lodge for the entire weekend for our immediate family and the wedding party. (You can find information on local hotels by clicking here.) The lodge has eight bedrooms with four bunk-beds each and two bedrooms with twin beds. Each bedroom has its own large bathroom with two showers. In addition, there is a fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, and a porch that overlooks the river. The lounge has a fireplace and a spiral staircase that leads up to a balcony with a piano. The rehearsal dinner will be held in the dining room on Friday evening. As you can imagine, children are welcome at the lodge! There will be games, videos, and snacks provided. After bedtime on Saturday night, there will be a babysitter and a walkie-talkie hotline between the lodge and the reception hall.
